Weakened but not broken,
Am I
Wandering without a path,
But not without a goal..

Travelling in the darkness of the night,
In the wilderness of silence,
Am I
Walking under a moonless sky,
But not without the hope of seeing the morning sun..

Stumbling on the mounds of the desert,
Endeavouring to drag my bruised feet,
Am I
Struggling amidst the scorching heat,
But not without the dream of enjoying the lashing rains...
