You wouldn't worry so much about what people really thought of you if you knew just how seldom they do.
baby-gifs-013.gif
Some people think only intellect counts: knowing how to solve problems, knowing how to get by, knowing how to identify an advantage and seize it. But the functions of intellect are insufficient without courage, love, friendship, compassion, and empathy.

The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are,
it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, or nobody, is gonna hit as hard as life.

But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward.
How much you can take and keep moving forward.
That’s how winning is done ! Now if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth.
But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers,
saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody ! Cowards do that, and that ain’t you.

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling five balls in the air. You name them - work, family, health, friends, and spirit - and you're keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back.
But the other four balls - family, health, friends, and spirit are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed, marked, nicked, damaged, or even shattered. They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.

How Many of us can truly say that we are 'good friends'?!
A friend cannot be considered a friend until he is tested in three occasions:
in time of need, behind your back, and after your death.

Respect those people who find time for you in their busy schedule

But love those people who never see their schedule when you need them
Advice of the day:

'I don't have time to hate people who hate me, because I'm too busy loving people who love me.'

A beautiful SMALL story [of a Grandpa and Grandson] on Quran reading.

Why do we read Quran if we can't understand even a single Arabic word???

This is a beautiful story on Reading Quran....

An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the eastern Kentucky with his grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting in the kitchen table reading his Quran. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked,"Grandpa!I tried to read Quran just like you,but I don't understand it and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Quran do?"Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal and replied,"Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water."The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house. The grandafther laughed and said,"You have to move a little faster next time" and sent him back to the river to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home.Out of is breath, he told his grandfather that it as impossible to carry water in a basket and he went to get a bucket instead. The old man said,"I don't want a bucket of water,I want a basket of water. You are just not trying hard enough" and he went out the door to watch the boy trying.

At this point the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water will leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into the river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather, the basket was again empty. Out of breath he said,"See Grandpa! it is useless!" "So you think it is useless?", the old man asked and said  "Look at the basket".The boy looked at the basket and for the first time he realised that the basket was different. It had been transfered from a dirty coal basket and was now clean inside and outside."Son,that's what happens when you read the Quran. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it you will be changed inside and out. That is the work of Allah in our lives."

Prophet Muhammed [Peace be upon him] said,"The one who guides to good will be rewarded equally".So if you feel the story is worth to be read, try to do spread this, with the noble thought in your mind.May Allah reward you.

The Boy and The Apple Tree.
-----------------------------------
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------
HONOUR OF PARENTS in the light of Quranic Verses and Hadiths
...-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come
and play around it everyday. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples,
took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and
the tree loved to play with him.

Time went by. The little boy had grown up and he no longer played around
the tree everyday. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.

"Come and play with me," the tree asked the boy.
"I am no longer a kid, I don't play around trees anymore."
The boy replied, "I want toys. I need money to buy them."

"Sorry, but I don't have money. But you can pick all my apples and sell them.
So, you will have money." The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples
on the tree and left happily.

The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited.
"Come and play with me" the tree said.
"I don't have time to play. I have to work for family.
We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?"

"Sorry, but I don't have a house. But you can chop off my branches
to build your house."So the boy cut all the branches of the tree and left happily.
The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back since then.
The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was delighted.
"Come and play with me!" the tree said. The boy said, "I am sad and getting old.
I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?"

"Use my truck to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy."
So the boy cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing
and never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years. "Sorry, my boy.
But I don't have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you."
the tree said.

"I don't have teeth to bite" the boy replied.
"No more truck for you to climb on"
"I am too old for that now" the boy said.
"I really can't give you anything. The only thing left is my dying roots."
the tree said with tears.

"I don't need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years."
the boy replied."Good! Old tree roots is the best place to lean on and rest.
Come, come sit down with me and rest."
The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

Lessons to Learn From Heart Touching Story:

This is a story of everyone. The tree is our parent. When we were young,
we loved to play with Mom and Dad. When we grown up, we left them,
only came to them when we need something or when we are in trouble.

No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could
to make you happy. You may think the boy is cruel to the tree but that's how all of us are treating our parents. So Respect Parents and help them when they really need you,
Love them,Take care of them as they take care of you when you was small baby.
Allah/God Will be happy with you if you keep your parents happy.

A group of students were asked to list what they thought were the present “Seven Wonders of the World.”
Though there were some disagreements, the following received the most votes:
1. Egypt’s Great Pyramids
2. Taj Mahal
3. Grand Canyon
4. Panama Canal
5. Empire State Building
6. St. Peter’s Basilica
7. China’s Great Wall
While gathering the votes, the teacher noted that one student had not finished her paper yet. So she asked the girl if she was having
trouble with her list.
The girl replied, “Yes, a little. I couldn’t quite make up my mind because there were so many.”
The teacher said, “Well, tell us what you have, and maybe we can help.”
The girl hesitated, then read, “I think the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’ are:”
1. to see
2. to hear
3. to touch
4. to taste
5. to feel
6. to laugh
7. and to love.”
The room was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.
The things we overlook as simple and ordinary and that we take for granted are truly wondrous!
A gentle reminder — that the most precious things in life cannot be built by hand or or brought by man.

Allah has given us many blessings for which we must continuously thank Him. Allah has given some people more and some people less.

If Allah has given us something, like an abundance of wealth or food, we must be careful to use it in a way which will please Him. If we waste our wealth or food then Allah will not be pleased.

On the day of
Judgement, we will need to account for all these blessings and how we used them. If we wasted food whilst so many people are starving in the world then what will we say to Allah?

Do you know that some people in the world are so poor and hungry that they are forced to eat leaves and grass. They are forced to drink water from puddles. Never waste any food and always thank Allah for whatever he has given you
.

This is a true story of Mother’s Sacrifice during the China Earthquake.
After the Earthquake had subsided, when the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman’s house, they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like a person was worshiping; her body was leaning forward, and her two hands were supporting by an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head.

With so many difficulties, the leader of the rescuer team put his hand through a narrow gap on the wall to reach the woman’s body. He was hoping that this woman could be still alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away for sure.

He and the rest of the team left this house and were going to search the next collapsed building. For some reasons, the team leader was driven by a compelling force to go back to the ruin house of the dead woman. Again, he knelt down and used his had through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. Suddenly, he screamed with excitement,” A child! There is a child! “

The whole team worked together; carefully they removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman. There was a 3 months old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother’s dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice for saving her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up.

The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’s love for her child!!

But the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us: “Allaah is more compassionate towards His slaves than this mother towards her child.” (Reported by Muslim).
