Think about how you treat your mother versus how you treat your friends. If you were to treat your friends the way you treat your mother, then you wouldn't have any friends. So let's make an effort to be an awesome son/daughter no matter how far we live from our parents, in'sha'ALLAH!

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: ALLAH''s Apostle (S.A.W) said, "It is one of the greatest sins that a man should curse his parents." It was asked (by the people), "O Allah's Apostle (S.A.W)! How does a man curse his parents?" The Prophet (S.A.W) said, "The man abuses the father of another man and the latter abuses the father of the former and abuses his mother." [Translation of a hadith narrated in Bukhari]
