At times when we are at our lowest, we need something to lift us our spirits up. I find that quotes, short stories and poems helps me lots through these process. To remind me that to count every small blessings :)In rainy days you might want a little sunshine to light your heart. In sunny days you might want a shade and cool breeze.. Just like little kind words and some motivation to get through rough days.. Something to keep you going.

No one has superiority over another except by piety and good action. Reminder for the next time we feel the slightest arrogance.
Pain is an unavoidable reality of life.Don’t run away.
The key to success is to learn how to accept the pain & Grow from it
It's okay to cry. It's okay to feel sad. It's okay that life gets tough.. It's okay to ask for help.
But it is not okay to give up!
Never : )
“The whole world from its beginning until its end is not worth an hour of sadness, so what about the sadness of whole life.”

Mother is like relation between hands and eyes.
When the hands gets hurt, the eyes cries.
And when the eyes cries the hand wipes its tears.
A man who degrades his wife in front of the children is wrong, he takes something away from her ability to mother . It is very important that children observe both parents treating each other with respect , dignity and love.

Tired of obeying your parents? Imagine an orphan longing for love.
You can replace a wife, but you can't replace a mother. So appreciate her for as long as you have her,Because Jannah lies under her feet.

❈ Beauty isn't about having a pretty face.
It's about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
and most importantly, a beautiful soul.
❈ Mother is a Biggest Blessing From Allah.
Don't let Your Mother to weep :(
Mother is the precious Gift of life :)
As muslims we are told to always smile, :)
don't smile at people and then harm them when they are not there...:)
There is no better friend than a friend who reminds you to pray, reminds you of Allah, and increases your iman..┊

Seek out only those people who help you open deeper and deeper layers of yourself.
You can withhold words, but you can't silence the heart. And yours is screaming.

I fear those silent days
-Poem by Sharmeen Syeeda
All rights reserved@ Allah’s presence
I fear those silent days, the evident old age,
When days begin to fade,
When weakness begins its rage
And locks life in a cage
I fear those silent days, the evident old age.
The life which began, is now near its end,
When the bed becomes the friend,
When the speech has lost its end,
And when there is no love to lend,
I fear those silent days, the evident old age.
When the bones are fragile and the tone softens
And when you’re all dependant,
I fear those silent days, the evident old age.
When the memory lessens
When the body bed riddens,
And when smiles are hidden
I fear those silent days, the evident old age.
I know, soon I’ll be close by,
And face the EVIDENT OLD AGE!!

I might not look so wise,
But my vision becomes clear as an ice.
I might not sound very clever,
Though I speak like an overflowing river.
I might not act that good,
For it all depends on my mood.
I might not pretend to be the best,
Still I'm not like the rest.
I might not be perfect for anyone's sake,
Yet I'm far away from being fake.
I might not be awesome,
Totally I'm different, and that is what I am!
I might not be able to please everyone,
For I'm here to please Allah alone!

What Qualifies you to Jannah
-Zeneefa Zaneer
All rights reserved @ Allah's presence
When we’re blessed with many bounties it’s common to think we’re better than others. We tend to feel superior if we’re blessed with beauty, health, wealth, children, or knowledge. We often forget why we’ve been blessed with something that’s been denied to others. The bounties we receive are means by which Allah (swt) refines us and prepares us to enter Jannah.
Proud of What We Are
It’s a natural human weakness to forget to value the bounties we’ve been granted. We want to think that good things have come to us because of our own goodness, and we forget that the more we’re blessed, the more we’re tested.
Some of us go beyond this and assume that we’re even qualified to go to Jannah with what we have in this world. Some of us assume that being born to Muslim parents gives us a free ticket to Jannah. Still others among us think that having a proud lineage, connected to great personalities in history, automatically reserves our seats in Jannah.
Allah Almighty says in the Glorious Quran, And know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is Allah with Whom lies your highest reward. [Quran, 8:28]
Every Bounty is a Test
Allah (swt) will test us according to that with which he has provided us, so we must not take life for granted; we’ll have to answer Almighty Allah one day for the way we used His bounty.
Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. [Quran, 2:155]
Allah will surely credit us for the way we used His bounty for others. If we’re rich Allah (swt) will judge us according to the way we treated the poor.
If we’re blessed with children Allah (swt) will judge us according to how we raised them and also according to how we treated those women unable to bear children.
If we’re healthy Allah (swt) will question how obedient we were in following His instructions.
If we’re blessed with intelligence and talent Allah will judge us by how we used these gifts in His service.
Everything blessed in this life is a test for us on the Day of Judgment.
Not Their Fault
A person who is physically challenged is not in this condition because of sins he or his parent have committed; rather this is a test for him and his parents. Whoever bears the pains patiently and accepts what life brings, believing, will be rewarded on the day he or she meets The Almighty Allah (swt).
He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving. [Quran, 67:2]
The proud who oppress others will win today but not in front of Almighty Allah (swt).
Nothing Allah (swt) gives you is due to your superiority; rather it is Allah’s mercy, and surely He is testing you!
There’s Always a Cost
Remember that the most tested on this earth were the ones who were sent with glad tidings from Allah (swt). Every prophet, may Allah (swt)’s blessings be on them, was tested with difficult tasks on earth.
Accept life as if it’s borrowed and you have to return it! The worldly deeds we earn will never serve as qualifications to enter Jannah. And remember that being beautiful, healthy, wealthy, or blessed with children or knowledge won’t take us to Jannah unless we use these things according to how Allah (swt) wants us to use them in this world.
There’s always a cost for the best, so there’s no free ride to Jannah. Let’s strive to use the blessings of Allah (swt) for the sake of Allah alone.

BUNDLES OF JOY
-Taz Shiraz
All rights reserved@Allah’s presence
Diminutive bundles of joy
Irreplaceable,extraordinary toy
Petite feet, no teeth
Bubbly and innocuously sweet
Flabby, tubby, chubby cheeks
Mischievous, naughty, playful tricks
Silky, glossy, soft skin
Teeny-weeny, teensy darling
A hug, a cuddle, a caress
Sufficient enough to impress
Pure, fresh unblemished face
Enticing you to embrace
Comfort to the craving soul
Command of every core
An apple of every eye
Sweet smile and a clement cry
Not one scratch, no stain
No pressure, not at all pain
Not at all greed, no any game
Not any quest for fame
Don't we all yearn to be
Alike afresh a new born baby
To repose in serenity and calm
Having conquered a charismatic charm.

REKINDLING HUMANITY
Cyber Muslimah

There was a time,
when man was man.
Caring for one another,
kindred and non kin alike.
Others before self,
was the order of the day.
A dying man would say,
thirsty as he is,
“Give the water to my dying brother”,
looking at the scarce resource,
and die.
A poor man would say,
“Come to my place, I’ll give you”,
and give all he has.
The receiver,
unaware of the great deed done.
There really was a time...
Years have passed...
Times have changed...
Now we have a time,
when welfare is ill-defined.
Tongue speaks,
heart does not.
Words pour,
feelings do not.
Self, self and self,
the order of the day.
While a man shouts, “Help Me”,
fallen onto a railway track,
a train whizzing towards him,
the onlooker would move farther,
for the perfect still.
Money in his bag: the aim.
We do have a time...
Years have passed...
Times have changed...
From good to bad to worse...
When will be the time,
Man Is Man Again??

Lower your gaze from the faults of others.
Lower your gaze from that which does not concern you.
Lower your gaze from that which people want hidden.
Lower your gaze from that which makes you angry.
Lower your gaze from things that will make you jealous."

This Monday was the hottest day of the month of March .Kids came from school and wanted to have a shower .Their dad too came from work and switched on the ac and was served an iced orange drink to cool himself .I also chose a light cotton maxi for the day to keep myself away from the heat.
While trying to have a short afternoon nap , i saw that we were all tossing and turning and my daughter asked,"Ammi is the ac fast ?""Yeah it is ,it will take some time for cooling as its too hot today".i replied.
Later that day at 5 pm i had been walking on the busy mohd Ali road when i saw a family lying at the corner of a footpath huddled in to each other 3 kids and their mom fast asleep .They were unaware of the noisy street and the scorching heat .They didnt have sheet to spread .They were so tired , so sleepy , my eyes welled up with tears that they were unmindful of all the hawkers shouting their wares and here in the comfort of our homes , soft cushioned beds even under fans and in airconditioned rooms we toss and turn
What contentment do they have ? Allah does not deprive anyone from sleep .I understood that actually we r never so tired ,yet we are ungrateful Ch14 V 7 says "If ye are grateful, I will Add more (favours) unto you; But if ye show ingratitude,Truly my punishment Is terrible indeed."

Don't believe everything you hear about others. You might be totally wrong.
Why are we so quick to forward false messages without verifying yet we delay in spreading the truth at times?
May the Almighty, the Owner of Cure, grant complete and speedy recovery to all those who are sick or ill in any way. Aameen
How you react to those who disagree with you & those who excel beyond you displays your true character.
How many people have smiled because of something you said or did & how many have cried?
Mocking or laughing at those who are physically or mentally challenged, or those of different sizes & colours has serious consequences.
Neither would we like to be thrown into a similar condition as a result of our misdeeds nor would we like that for our own children or family members.
It is important that we thank the Almighty for whatever He has blessed us with & ask that those who are in such conditions be granted goodness too.
At times we forget to teach our children to be helpful to the disabled & treat them with a special kindness instead of staring at them as though they were aliens. The same applies to those of different sizes or races.
It takes all types of people to make up the wonderful world we live in, so let us respect & care for them all.

There are some things that will continue to frustrate you, until you let go completely. #NoteToSelf
He was devastated.
His only source of nourishment had disappeared. It was all he knew, and now it was gone. Suddenly, the world grew cold, and only strangers surrounded him. The newborn child screamed. He thought his life was over.
What the child did not realize was that there was someone taking care of him. There was a plan for him. And in place of everything that had been taken away, his Protector would provide something better. The nourishment he had once received only through blood would soon come through his mother’s milk. And the lifeless walls of the womb—once thought to be his only protection—would soon be replaced by the comfort of his family’s arms.
And yet, to the newborn child, it would seem he had lost everything.
Many of us find ourselves like this child. There are times when we feel we have lost everything, or things look broken and nothing like how we wished they would be. At times we even feel as though we’ve been abandoned and nothing is working out the way we planned.
But just like that newborn child, things are often not what they seem, and tawakkul (trusting and relying on Allah) is realizing that our Protector has a plan for us. Tawakkul is having complete trust that Allah’s plan is the best plan. Tawakkul is having full faith that Allah will take care of you—even when things look impossible. Tawakkul is standing in front of the Red Sea—as Prophet Musa did—with an army behind you, and not even flinching, knowing that Allah will get you through. It is having full faith that when Allah takes away the umbilical cord, He will replace it with milk.
There can be no faith without tawakkul; and if there is true faith, tawakkul must always follow. Allah says in the Qur’an: “The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely (have tawakkul)” (8:2).
If one truly understands the Reality and the power of Allah, one will realize that it is in fact an infirmity of the human mind to not rely on Allah. Nothing in the entire universe happens except by the permission of Allah. Not even a leaf falls from a tree without His leave (hadith). It is He who provides for everything in existence; He has power over all things, and in His hand is the dominion of the heavens and the earth (Qur’an, 67:1-2).
So how could we not but put our entire trust in Him?
Allah tells the believers in the Qur’an: “Say, “Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector.” And upon Allah let the believers rely” (9:51).
The Qur’an explains that, “And whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him” (65:3). And the Reality is that there is nothing and nowhere else that will be sufficient. Allah is the only handhold that never breaks (Quran 2: 256).
The Messenger of Allah (s) said: “If you trust Allah with the right kind of tawakkul, He will provide you sustenance as He provides for the birds – they go out in the morning with empty stomachs and come back in the evening with full stomachs” (Tirmidhi).
And just like He does for the birds and the newborn child, Allah provides for us from places we could never imagine.

"When He opens up your understanding of deprivation, deprivation becomes the same as giving."--ibn atta'illah
Happiness, sadness, loss and gain all pass away. What they do to us is what remains.
Beauty is the goal. Beauty of the heart. Judge every experience in life as either good or bad, not based on how much pleasure or pain it brought, but based on how beautiful or ugly it made your heart.
https://www.facebook.com/YMogahed?fref=ts
When you're in need, in pain or confused, don't speak. Listen. Listen for the duaa He inspires in your heart. And then ask. Beg. And don't stop begging.
When you dont know what to say anymore, just take off the masks and speak your heart.
It's ironic. We put so much importance on the physical world. Yet, the most important things in life are the things we can't see.
I think we seek out people who we hope will fix what our childhood broke.
https://www.facebook.com/YMogahed?fref=ts
When you realize that you cannot have everything you want, you've understood the nature of dunya.
When you realize that you can have everything you love or desire, you've understood the nature of jennah!
Peace doesn't exist outside. It can only exist inside. And the peace that is on the inside cannot be taken away by anyone. No matter what they do. No matter what they say. No matter what they threaten. If your paradise is in your heart, no one can take it from you.
I have spent a lot of my life trying to reconcile between hardship and ease. On the one hand, we are told again and again that the straight path is not easy and requires struggle and sacrifice. But on the other hand, as humans we always desire ease. What I have come to realize is that the path will always have challenges, tests and trials. There will be hardships and there will be storms. But, if Allah wills, you can be given ease *within* the hardship. The one who finds refuge in Allah, remains dry—even during the most powerful storm. Outside, it may be raining, but inside the refuge of Allah, it’s dry. Outside, it may be storming, but inside yourself, there is calm. Even the flames of your life can be made ‘bardan wa salama’ (coolness and safety), as they were on Ibraheem (AS). So my focus was wrong. I was trying to create a jennah, a perfect, storm-free, fireless world, outside. But this doesn’t exist in dunya. I needed to shift the focus. Jennah—a calm, peaceful world—can exist inside. Your sanctuary is inside yourself. No one can take that sanctuary away from you. No storm can affect it. No rain can reach it. Work on building *that* jennah. Work on entering *that* jennah.
And you will have jennah in this life, and the next.
The space inside your Self is sacred. Let no intruder enter. It is saved only for you and God. The reason we have trouble letting go is because we take things in and make them a part of our Self. When we feel sadness, we say, “I am sad.” The sadness becomes a part of us. When we have wealth, we say, “I am wealthy.” When we feel anger or pain, we say, “I am angry” or “I am in pain.” We allow these things to define us. And control us. When we love a person, we make that person a part of us. Beware of making another person a part of your Self. Love, give, interact—but never absorb. Keep your Self intact. Do not add to yourself by taking from another person. Nor subtract from yourself to give to another person.
Therefore, the secret to letting go is the realization that the object of attachment (sadness, fear, wealth, people) was never a part of you. You may have held it close, but it was always outside of *you*. Therefore letting go of that object of attachment will not break you because you existed as a whole before the object and will exist as a whole after the object.
