At times when we are at our lowest, we need something to lift us our spirits up. I find that quotes, short stories and poems helps me lots through these process. To remind me that to count every small blessings :)In rainy days you might want a little sunshine to light your heart. In sunny days you might want a shade and cool breeze.. Just like little kind words and some motivation to get through rough days.. Something to keep you going.

♦♦♦ A Lesson From The Chinese Bamboo Tree ♦♦♦
There was once a man who felt discouraged. He took stock of the resolutions he made last year. Nothing in his life had changed. He was the same person with the same flows and problems. He began to lose hope. So he decided to speak to his grandfather.
His grandfather asked Do you know how long it takes for the giant bamboo tree to grow as tall as a building? During the first year the tiny plant is watered and fertilized and NOTHING happens. It is watered and fertilized for another whole year and another and another and still NOTHING happens. Then in the fifth year,it shoots up to the sky.In six weeks the bamboo tree grows 90 feet. So how long it takes to grow so high?
Six weeks the man replied.
That's your mistake Grandfather said.It takes five years. If the farmer would have stopped watering the plant at any point in those five years,it would have died. What was happening in those five years?Underneath the ground an enormous network of roots was developing to support Bamboo's sudden growth.
Growth takes patience and perseverance. Every drop of water makes a difference. Every step you take makes an impact. You may not see the change right away but growth is happening. With commitment and drive to attain your goal you will break through and reach great heights. All human wisdom is summed up in two words.WAIT and HOPE!!
