O Allah, on this most blessed day of the week, in the most holiest month of the year - please send down Your mercy on the children of Syria, the children of Egypt, the children of Somalia, the children of Gaza - and in any other parts of the world. Please also grant strength and patience to their grieving mothers and fathers.

Human life is such that its tainted with many holes. I've seen a lot of people and when i look at them, i think to myself and try to imagine; "what's their life like?" They smile at me, we share a few moments but do I really know what's going on behind the facade they've
created, i guess not. I get hurt at times, we all get hurt a lot of times but one of the reasons why we are humans is our differences, right? We deal with them differently; some are so strong, some are weak, some are very emotional and others have a heart of stone!(I'm not referring to being wicked).
Personally, i deal with my pain by being solitary. Right from my Teenage years, I've learnt to appreciate the gift of reasoning Allah has bestowed on us; by being solitude, i get to reflect and actually think about what
has actually happened and how to go about it and Allah in his infinite mercies always made and still makes a way out for me. One thing though, being solitude shouldn't make you confused with worries
or loneliness. When you are solitary, you afford yourself the opportunity to be grateful for all those things you can remember your Lord have done
for you by reflecting on your life. It also opens your mind to new possibilities, things you would hitherto not given any importance, builds your confidence in yourself
and your Lord and also help you to appreciate the life you've got because i can tell you categorically that more than 10 people wish to live the kind of life that you live.(Not a bad one anyway) So, next time when you have a problem or you're hurting, afford yourself some
time alone, stop worrying and put all your hope in the One who made us believe me, you'd be surprised at the results.
May Allah ta'ala help us all and ease our burdens... Amiin.
Ramadan kareem!

DO THIS DON'T DO THAT!!- A Struggle everyday in Ramadan
All rights reserved @Allah swt's presence
-Umme Muhammad
Do not make Ramadan as an excuse to sleep more,
it is a reason to sleep less.
Do not think Ramadan is a reason to lose weight,
it is a reason to lose bad habits.
Do not make Ramadan an excuse to be lazy,
it is a reason to be active.
DO not make Ramadan a month of feasting
it is a reason to gain taqwa.
Do not take Ramadan as a chore
It is special and it must be different
Do not be idle or gossip in Ramadan
It is a reason to do ample of zikr And zikr cleans the stains of heart
Do not miss any night salah
It is the way of the pious
Do not miss making duas at suhur and iftar
It is a reason we can seek forgiveness
Do not make an excuse that the satan is tempting
It is the nafs that is stronger
Do not miss making an intention to change
It is easier to change in Ramadan

This beautiful month,
Has returned again,
May we all take heed,
And race towards good deeds,
Secure Allah's Mercy, Forgiveness & Guidance,
So we may use this month,
To reach greater heights.
Let us not be of those who allow it to pass idly by,
But let us be of those who see their weaknesses & find therein, a new found strength.
Ramadhan Mubarak

Look to those lower than you:
Look around you, to the right and to the left. Do you not see the afflicted and the unfortunate? In every house there is mourning and upon every cheek run tears. How many tribulations and how many people persevere with patience. You are not alone in your troubles, which are few compared to those of others. How many sick people remain bedridden for years while suffering from unspeakable pain! How many have not seen the light of the sun for years due to their imprisonment, having knowledge of nothing but the four corners of their cell! How many men and women have lost their children in the prime of their youth! How many people are troubled or tormented!
Find consolation with those that are worse off than you; know that this life is like a prison for the believer, an abode of grief and sadness. You must adapt like the experienced camel, which manages, when necessary, to kneel upon a rock. You must also compare your difficulties of those around you, and with those that have come before you; you should realize that you are in good shape relative to them, and that you have merely been pricked by tiny difficulties. So praise Allah for His kindness, be thankful for what He has left for you, seek recompense from Him for what He has taken and seek consolation with those that are afflicted.

Simply beau-ti-ful! ♥
O Ramadan, be gentle, the tears of the believers pour forth, and their hearts are anxious from the pain of separation. And why shouldn't the tears flow from the believers upon the parting (of Ramadan), whilst he knows not whether he shall live to see its return. - Ibn Rajab (Rahimahullah).

Today is the odd night: 27th. O ALLAH, please give us the blessings of Laylatul Qadr, forgive all our past sins and make us better Muslims....
Ramadhan..It's getting closer that you are going to leave us....Ramadan... Heart's feeling heavy. Missing our loved ones who have left before us.. May ALLAH keep them in His Jannah, inshaALLAH(
If I planted the Crown Jewels in a 10 Acre garden and it took One night to dig up each acre are you telling me you wouldn't sTay up for TEN Nights digging the GarDen to find these Treasures?
Well within these last Ten Days of Ramadhan there is an even bigger treasure;
A Thousand Nights of Worship and Previous Sins Forgiven.
Tell me???
U are not staying up for the Jewels that you can take to the Hereafter too!

Benefits of Ramadan:
• Through fasting, a Muslim experiences hunger and thirst, and sympathizes with those in the world who have little to eat every day.
• Through increased devotion, Muslims feel closer to their Creator, and recognize that everything we have in this life is a blessing from Him.
• Through increased charity, Muslims develop feelings of generosity and good-will toward others. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said, "A man's wealth is never diminished by charity."
• Through self-control, a Muslim practices good manners, good speech, and good habits.
• Through changing routines, Muslims have a chance to establish more healthy lifestyle habits -- particularly with regards to diet and smoking.
• Through family and community gatherings, Muslims strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, in their own communities and throughout the world.
Ramadan is a very special time for Muslims, but the feelings and lessons we experience should stay with us throughout the year. In the Qur'an, Muslims are commanded to fast so that they may "learn self-restraint" (Qur'an 2:183). This restraint and devotion is especially felt during Ramadan, but we all must strive to make the feelings and attitudes stay with us during our "normal" lives. That is the true goal and test of Ramadan.
May ALLAH accept our fasting, forgive our sins, and guide us all to the Straight Path. May ALLAH bless us all during Ramadan, and throughout the year, with His forgiveness, mercy, and peace, and bring us all closer to Him and to each other.

another pic that tugs at the heart. while we are all enjoying our fancy iftars, a father in somalia struggles to feed his little boy. all of us can survive on a handful of grains a day (isn't there a hadith for this?), yet here we are showing off the fancy iftars we have while others can't even feed their own children.

Shifting!!
By A.J by IiWords
I remember my first day here. I was excited then, my life was going to change for a better tomorrow and it did. It was a turning point in my life. New school, new friends, new people, new place, new life….it was all new and different.
Time passed and memories were created . When I turned around to look ,I saw an empty deserted house and not the the lively place that I was familiar to. I never wanted to leave this place .An uninvited tear escaped my eyes, as my mind crowded with memories in every spot of the house. Nostalgia-yes, that’s what I felt!
And now its time to leave, time to say goodbye, time to bid farewell to this haven that I loved so dearly…..
‘Can we stay just one more day’,I pleaded with hope. ’No its not possible ,you have to leave immediately’, they blatantly refused. I did not want to leave so soon for I had so much to do before we leave.
I was not prepared, mentally nor physically. I knew we were shifting. We all knew , but was not sure of the exact date until it was too late. We did not expect it to be so soon. I had plans, many plans of what I should do before we moved. I did not have a deadline though, and so naturally procrastinated until it was too late. I can’t say I didn’t have time , I had all the time in the world.
The house looked like it was ransacked. Clothes, books ,pots and pans, glasswares ,parts of furnitures and many more were all scattered on the floor. We could could earn a million if we had a sale with them all..:)..:)We had to dump half our things in garbage bags (you know just dump them the way the we dump garbage….and believe me the garbage bags too were borrowed from our neighbors ),we were that unprepared. No time to sort out the wanted and the unwanted-everything was just dumped.
I know my life is going to change, but for the better or worse I do not know. But I have a choice. I could either dwell in the past and worry about going back or I could take the lemons that this change throws at me and make lemonades. I have not done all what I wanted to do, but I know its not the end of the world, I still have time, though it would take more effort , I still can do it. I still have time to sort out the wanted and unwanted !
DEATH!!!it comes with no warning, no deadline, whether we like it or not ,willingly or unwillingly, prepared or unprepared ,we all know that we have to go when the time comes .Sounds like me shifting yeah!!!:)
But when you think about it, there is a difference .We have to leave behind those that we love which is more valuable and dearer to us than what I had to leave behind. And we would not have the choice that I had, it would be the end, the end of our life. And as for the change, we have no say in it , the good and bad that we did will speak and our Lord will decide between only two destinies. Either the unbearable tormenting fire or the Gardens under which rivers flow-agony or bliss!
As the minutes pass by, with every tick of the clock, with every breath we take, we all know that the time is nearing-nearing to say goodbye to all those dear to us-family, friends , job etc. for us to shift –shift to the next world, to eternity. And the only thing we can take with us is our deeds-the only thing that will be packed to be shifted!
Have you started packing to shift?
Are you going to make the mistake that I made? Are you going to procrastinate and wait till the last minute? Are you going to take everything-the wanted and the unwanted? Or are you going to plan ahead and prepare what you will take with you ?’1 more day, 1 more hour, 1 more minute?’-we would not have the time to ask.
This glorious blessed month is the month of mercy and forgiveness…its your opportunity to prepare with ease…who knows whether you’ll get this opportunity again-this maybe your last. Make the best out of it!
