If the shaytaan looks at you and sees that you are consistent in an act of obedience to Allah he will try to come to you again and again. If he sees that you are persistent in your actions (despite his efforts), he will tire of you and leave you. But if he sees that you are one day like this and one day like that, he will have high hopes in you."

Heard a sister telling proudly that she doesn't observe hijab because her husband is very "broad minded".
Hah!!A mind which can't see beyond this duniyah, can we call it broad minded???
Broad minded is a person who is intelligent enough to have his sight more on the hereafter where he has to live eternally rather than on this duniyah where he is nothing more than a guest..

Recently, a worldwide survey was conducted and the only question asked was: "Would you please give your honest opinion about the solution to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"

The survey was, not surprisingly, a huge failure. Because:

In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.
...
In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.

In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.

In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.

In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.

In South America they didn't know what "please" meant.

And, in the USA they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.
