At times when we are at our lowest, we need something to lift us our spirits up. I find that quotes, short stories and poems helps me lots through these process. To remind me that to count every small blessings :)In rainy days you might want a little sunshine to light your heart. In sunny days you might want a shade and cool breeze.. Just like little kind words and some motivation to get through rough days.. Something to keep you going.

“Still, the longer I was around her, the more I could see the colours of her mind and the recesses of her heart. There was a beast in there. But there was also a girl who was afraid of being a beast, and who wondered if other people had beasts in their hearts too. There was strength, and there was also just the determination to look strong. She guarded herself like a secret.”
I am like the sea
The way its calmness hides the turmoil beneath
My smile flows like a thousand unspoken words
But my nervous heart is locked in fear of the unknown
And I find comfort in that not a soul except He knows
How deep this sea really flows
People who speak ill of you behind your back or throw negative comments at you about your life style, personality or looks etc, are usually pretty insecure themselves. You'll only take offense to it if you're uncomfortable with your own self. Be at absolute ease with who and what you are, and if you find that something needs to be changed (only if it will help you), then go for it. But never lose your identity for the sake of pleasing others.
"You will know that forgiveness has begun when you recall those who hurt you and feel the power to wish them well."
“When we honestly ask ourselves which persons in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”
~ A true rarity, but when you have found such a friend, cherish them and hold onto them.
Close all the doors and burn all bridges behind you so that moving forward is your only option.
Sometimes all it takes is a deep, deep breath. Sometimes all it takes is a compassionate ear. Sometimes all it takes is thinking twice before letting your tongue fire tiny missiles. Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of love.
