Voiceless plea
-Zeneefa Zaneer
She walks in grey alley
All by herself
A wind to carry her silent sigh
Was never on its way…
She wasn’t lost
Oh! She wasn’t left alone
Yet she belongs to none
For she was an orphan girl
Silence was her voice, Prayers were her mace
Silver dew falls down giving another hope
Hope for a better day, a dream for gifted tomorrow
The Promised Land with serenity
All what she want to feel, for Allah is enough for her
Left alone was she
For a decade and three
To be loved and cared
Was all what she craved
Yet none was ready to give
Yet she belongs to none
For she was an orphan girl
Silence was her voice, Prayers were her mace
Silver dew falls down giving another hope
Hope for a better day, a dream for gifted tomorrow
The Promised Land with serenity
All what she want to feel, for Allah is enough for her
Left alone was she
For a decade and three
To be loved and cared
Was all what she craved
Yet none was ready to give
Challenges hit her face
The mockery tailed her grace
Yet she was thankful to Allah
For being incapable to heed
Silence was her voice, Prayers were her mace
Silver dew falls down giving another hope
Hope for a better day, a dream for gifted tomorrow
The Promised Land with serenity
All what she wants to feel for ALLAH is enough for her
a mother’s warmth she missed
a father’s love she grieved
forlorn days were hard to sail
yet none to return her with a smile
the sun, the moon the stars
the flowers and the trees
the wind and the rain
were enough to forget her pain
Silence was her voice, Prayers were her mace
Silver dew falls down giving another hope
Hope for a better day, a dream for gifted tomorrow
The Promised Land with serenity
All what she wants to feel for ALLAH is enough for her
The mockery tailed her grace
Yet she was thankful to Allah
For being incapable to heed
Silence was her voice, Prayers were her mace
Silver dew falls down giving another hope
Hope for a better day, a dream for gifted tomorrow
