It was narrated that ‘Ali (may Allaah be pleased with him) said:

I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say:

“THERE IS NO MUSLIM WHO VISITS A (SICK) MUSLIM EARLY IN THE MORNING BUT SEVENTY THOUSAND ANGELS SEND BLESSINGS UPON HIM UNTIL EVENING COMES, AND IF HE VISITS HIM IN THE EVENING, SEVENTY THOUSAND ANGELS SEND BLESSINGS UPON HIM UNTIL MORNING COMES, AND HE WILL HAVE A GARDEN IN PARADISE.”

"If you want to keep your relationship with your spouse healthy and strong, stop putting so much effort into maintaining relationships with other people. Every day we go out and we are ready to go out of our way to help anyone and everyone in their time of need, yet when our wives need emotional or physical support, we tend to see it more of a nuisance and a chore rather than something we enjoy doing. There’s a reason why the Messenger of Allah SAW recognized the people of best character as those who are best to their wives."

Be honest with yourself. When you advise or correct that brother or sister, especially in a public setting, are you doing it to please Allah..

Or are you doing it to please your own ego?

"Man holds friendship with three companions in his lifetime: Wealth, Family, and Deeds.

Wealth pays little respect to man, coming and going as it pleases, and divorces a man the minute he takes his last breath.

Family continues after his death, to administer the funeral rights, to remember him, to speak of him. Yet a time comes when man remains nothing more than a distant, fading memory.

Deeds are silent during man’s worldly life. The consequences or rewards of this friendship are showcased after death. They accompany a man into his grave, where they are the source of his protection or his punishment. They are eternally bonded to man.

Which of these three companions do you keep closest to your heart?"

"What really counts are good endings, not flawed beginnings."

- Shaykh-ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah

"If Allah ever tests you with some minor test in this world in regards to your property, family, reputation, health, etc. Just remember that the people people in Syria, Palestine, Somalia, etc. would consider your hard times to be paradise on earth.
